Activate Suggestions Bar on iOS 5 (MAC)

A hidden feature present in IOS 5, probably reserved for a future upgrade, bar reveals the tips, here are the instructions to activate it with a Mac. This guide was written for informational purposes only are not responsible for any data loss, malfunction, damage to your devices.

Activation requires 6 steps:

  • download iBackupBot
  • Make a backup of your device to iTunes
  • IBackupBot loaded with the last backup performed
  • Follow the following path Library / Preferences / and open the file com.apple.keyboard.plist
  • Add the following string: KeyboardAutocorrectionListsYES
  • Save your changes and then restore the backup from iBackupbot

On October 12, Apple released the new update for the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, iOS 5. This new firmware introduces over 200 new features, including the shrine, the center notifications, options for editing photos, and lots of other minor functions IMessage.
