- The first step is to make sure you have root user access to your Optimus Black, if it is not the case, you can see the process (external guide in English) here.
- Now when you have root access, refers to that by downloading the application from the Android Market Root Checker.
- Download a free version of the application from the Android Market Rom Manager. This process does not require any of the characteristics of pay for this application, so the free is enough.
- After the download run this application.
- When you run, give ClockworkMod Flash Recovery is the first choice from the list.
- Now select the appropriate model and hit Ok to continue the process.

- When finished downloading the zip archive to build, connect your phone to your computer, mount the SD card and copy the downloaded file into it, do not put it into any folder.

- Rom Launches Manager again and select the option “Reboot Into Recovery” found in Flash ClockworkMod Recovery tab for the phone to reboot.
- Once your phone is restarted make a backup or backup your phone using the “Backup / Restore”
- After backup done, erase the data on the “Wipe data / factory reset” followed by “Cache Wiping partition.” Use the up and down buttons to navigate between the volume recovery options.
