Vimeo for Nokia Belle Getting Closer

It has not been an official announcement by Vimeo developers to release a version for Nokia Belle, but from the bolg Nokialino have made a curious discovery.

Looking at the official website dedicated to the Nokia 808 PureView have discovered the Vimeo icon on the home screen of the phone. This application can find the Windows Phone and all major platforms on the market, but Nokia Belle is yet to come. This may be the sign that will soon be available.

Although not as popular as Youtube, Vimeo is the direct competitor of the latter, and a very interesting alternative to view and upload videos in streaming. You could say, and this I can take as a personal opinion that Vimeo can give you a bit more quality in terms of content that YouTube, and certainly always find something interesting to do.

If this is the case that releasing a version for Nokia Belle, certainly going to be very well received by users.

SkyDrive v.2.0 for Lumia Nokia 900/800/710/610

SkyDrive is updated to version for Nokia Lumia 900, 800, 710 and 610. And now that Microsoft has released two updates in two very important applications for Windows Phone, of course, the other is Skype.

In case you still do not know, SkyDrive is the place where you can store your files to access them from virtually any device. Windows Phone has integrated access SkyDrive from the Office Hub and Images. You can also automatically load the images on SkyDrive bags for easy access.

SkyDrive v.2.0 for Lumia Nokia 900/800/710/610 features

  • Access all your content from SkyDrive, including shared files with you.
  • Displays recently used documents.
  • Upload photos or videos from your phone.
  • Share your files and photos (send a link via e-mail or get a link you can copy and paste).
  • Manage your files (move, delete, rename or create new folders).

Changelog:

  • Support for Open Document format (odt, odp, ods …);
  • Ability to upload files up to 300MB;
  • Share pictures and photos on Twitter with a short domain of measurement (sdrv.ms)

Firmware Update for Nokia Lumia 800 [soon]

It was learned long ago that Nokia prepares a firmware update for the Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710, but for a fact that has come to light, it seems that its release is more than imminent.

From the official website dedicated to Nokia firmware updates can be seen that the launch should not take too long, and it looks like it will for those phones that have a contract with Vodafone.

The operator Vodafone was the first released firmware version 12070 for the Nokia Lumia 800, and could be working on a new update. This update should bring to 800 the tethering Lumia Nokia Wi-Fi, which as you know comes with the Lumia 610.

At the moment this page only is devoted to Lumia Nokia 800, but I could not spend much time until we see what’s new in the update of Nokia Lumia 710. Apparently there will be updated soon with new developments.
