Batman is one of my favorite superhero since the studio decided to take the franchise Rocksteady and adapt to the new generation of consoles, the Dark Knight enjoys great popularity among the gaming community. Thanks in part to the success they have had the films of Christopher Nolan, starring Christian Bale.
Batman Arkham Lockdown for iPad begins with a tutorial, in which Batman must face one of the Joker’s goons. The controls are really simple: Touch the screen to dodge the blows, slide right and left to chain punches, and move up or down to perform powerful combos that leave our opponents on the ground.
A few minutes suffice to master to perfection the fighting system, which ultimately turns the game into a succession of repetitive fighting. From time to time as our adversaries come in a state of rage, but even so it gets tricky, because we limit only to dodge the blows and little else. Quite a shame because the potential of games could have become a little gem for our tablet.
Arkham City is divided into different areas with their respective bosses, which will give a touch of difficulty to the game, and that to reach them, we must first overcome his goons lengthening the duration of play and hours of fun.
One of the most interesting of Batman Arkham Lockdown are the extras. Wallpapers for iPad or iPad 2, a selection of comics and different skins to play Batman, some of which unfortunately only available if paid for.
The graphics will be the distinctive note of the game, because although nowhere near the level of the home consoles, Batman Arkham Lockdown is one of the games with better graphics that can be found today for the iPad.
The game is designed for those players who are fans of The Dark Knight, because despite the limitations of the high price game and enjoy watching his favorite superhero delivers justice in the streets of Gotham.
